This modern home was built in 2016 in a Canadian city. La Malbe by ACDF Architecture. He bears the name Blanche, which from French can be translated as “white”. Such simple and clean architecture perfectly complements the natural landscape. The base of the house is made of concrete. It hides technical premises and serves as the basis for the main entrance. In order to architecture in harmony with the environment for facade decoration used wood, which is the main material for construction for many centuries in this region. Wood provides a beautiful texture, carries warmth and comfort. The internal layout has its own characteristics. The heart of the house is a living room that “floats” in the air. Due to panoramic glazing from the second floor offers stunning views of the estuary St. Lawrence River, mountains and forest. Here is the kitchen and living room. In another part of the house are four bedrooms, hidden from the eyes. In such a place I want to dream!
