The stone house in the Pyrenees was reconstructed by the Spanish architectural studio CADAVAL & SOLÀ-MORALES. The project was directed to upgrade a traditional stone house for these latitudes, with the aim of bring life back to the old building. She was pretty strong so the architects decided to build a second floor, which, despite in its modern look, fits perfectly into the historic district. On the at this level there are no partitions and doors: everything is as open as possible. Thanks to this, the interior is filled with light and it seems very spacious. On the second level there is an open terrace, which in addition to the windows along the entire wall, you can enjoy views of the beautiful valley and mountains. Just magical!
