This beautiful brick house has been restored by the efforts of two Studios – Gail Marsden Interior Design and Harrison Collier. In his time in the UK such red brick houses could meet around the suburbs, today they are carefully updated and adapt to modern life. Specifically in this project was decided to arrange panoramic windows in the living room, letting in more light. The window frames themselves were replaced throughout the house with similar ones in black color, due to which outwardly the house looks pretty brutal, but inside is decorated with chic.
Moreover, these two completely different styles look great together. To achieve a harmonious interior, designers had to go to some tricks. For example, part of the windows on the inside decorated in white, and all so that they do not stand out background of light walls.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen, living room and dining room. Wherein the kitchen does not seem cumbersome, but rather the opposite – he seems to be part of the living room. This effect was achieved due to the fact that all the equipment is hidden behind the facades of the cabinets, whose height reaches the ceiling. The whole interior is decorated in white color, the emphasis is on dark furniture (table, sofa, chairs).
The combination of white and gray with emphasis on black details is always interesting!
