This unusual home located in the mountain valley of Methow State Washington, USA, was designed by Finne Architects. It is hosted by foot of the mountain surrounded by trees. The whole structure is raised to steel piles due to avalanches that are typical of this area.
A wooden house, despite its size, looks pretty easy. This effect was achieved thanks to the roof, which has a different height, and plentiful glazing. The interior of the house was completely designed in harmony with the environment. It provides natural ventilation and a large amount of lighting, there are floors with heated. Almost all the furniture and fixtures were made to order. The predominant style in the interior is minimalism.
