One of the most famous architectural studios in Israel, presented for review its own house, the development of which lasted for 6 years. The workshop belongs to a married couple, managed to work around the world. Long time with two children they lived in a small building on the same site. Together they worked on various shapes, sizes, materials and details, however, due to lack of time for themselves or the budget, they could not implement the plan.
The guys themselves say: “Given that during this time we have acquired extensive experience in other projects and spent hours of negotiations with customers, listening to their dilemmas, we have become more clearly understand our own needs, and our values become clear. Finally, the moment came when we realized what we want see”.
On the site, it was decided to preserve walnut and fruit trees, and make the house a part of the existing garden, which was formed a lot decades. Green surroundings, plenty of daylight and western wind from the Mediterranean became the starting point. Selected building materials helped blur the lines between interior decoration and surrounding beauty.
The space of parents and children is located at both ends of the house, and a living area with a kitchen and a dining room is located in the center. IN As a result, architects got such a family meeting place with panoramic windows overlooking the garden.
