The house was built by architects Dualchas in 2010 and located on Isle of Skye, Scotland. Its owners are simply fell in love with this island. For many years they admired unusual landscape, until we decided to move and get a portion of beauty daily. All responsibility for the appearance and the style of the future home, they shifted to the shoulders of architects and designers. The only thing future owners were afraid of was similarities with the house in which they live now.
The main highlight of the house is its solitude with nature – he seems to be part of the surrounding beauty. He has visibility on three sides, with rooms placed so so that the light of the sun at sunrise illuminates the terrace and kitchen, and on sunset bedroom and a second terrace. From the windows of the house is not only invisible neighboring buildings, but the house itself is invisible to neighbors (here the mountain terrain of the island). Architects have created a wonderful modern cottage – a small world where its inhabitants feel themselves part nature.
