MODERN HOUSE: TWO PROJECTS FROM THAILAND

These two modern houses were designed in 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand, by local architecture studio Alkhemist Architects. They belong to two brothers who do not represent their life away from each other, but nonetheless leading different Lifestyle. At the beginning of the design, the architects wanted to create identical in layout and appearance of the house, but in the process of work decided to focus on the personal needs of each of the men. On the at first glance these two houses are similar, but if you look more closely, each has its own characteristics.

Both houses have a long rectangular shape. Car garages located west of the entrances, and the main living areas on east. Between them there are kitchens, dining rooms and guest bedrooms. Master bedrooms are located on the second floors. In general, the layout The buildings are almost mirrored. The unifying link between them serves as a terrace with wooden floor, access to which is from both living rooms. However, these two houses have different internal atmospheres that reflect the characters of the owners.

Modern house with white and blue accents belongs to an older brother who is a professional golfer. He loves open space without extra partitions. A large he spends part of his time working in the dining room or relaxing in living room. In order to increase the amount of sunlight in In these areas, architects decided to add windows from the north and east. The interior design of this house turned out to be very bright!
