They were created by a self-taught artist for 10 years. By is Ben Young from New Zealand who most of his life lived on the shores of the bay on the North Island. Environment beauty served as an inspiration for the master. Generally the ocean is playing the main role in his life: Ben is a shipbuilder by profession, and in free time surfing. Perfect waves, depth and the power of the ocean are his passion. And it certainly reads in his works! Before you start working with glass, the master draws a future sculpture on paper, then manually processes layer by layer. He does not have high-tech equipment, therefore, his sculptures have special handmade magic. Texture and the color of the glass differs depending on the “depth of the ocean”, thereby providing a truly unique art.
