Holston River House is a residential project, from architectural Bureau Sanders Pace. It is located in Talisman, Tennessee, USA. House built on a scenic plot near the Holston River. The rocky slope and deciduous forest influenced the geometry of the house and its accommodation. Three main areas are located around the central object – a dining room. From there you can see almost the entire the plot also has access to the summer terrace. Structurally, the house can divided into base and living space. Concrete base elevates the house and hides in itself all communications. Living space was built using prefabricated wooden frames and blocks for ceiling and floor.
