Increasingly, when repairing one- and two-bedroom apartments, the choice falls redevelopment in a studio apartment. This layout has become popular for many reasons, but the main one is, of course, increase in space. When combining a kitchen and living room additional square meters that previously occupied the corridor and the wall itself. An open plan is perfect for people living alone or for a young couple. Family with it will be more difficult for a child to stay in a studio without a separate extra room. Therefore the decision to do redevelopment or not, must be taken in each individual case.
Today’s heroine of our article lives in Sweden, but despite it has a similar layout to the familiar two-room apartments. By removing the partitions and combining all the rooms into one space, designers managed to save the bedroom, kitchen and living room, and as a bonus add a working area. Thanks to light and white furniture, it practically dissolves in space and becomes a continuation of the lines of the wall. sunlight seamlessly fills the whole apartment and, reflecting off the white walls, fills it with warmth and freshness. The only bright objects in the design, eye-catching, became a leather sofa and carpet on the floor. Happy viewing!
