Furniture from sea mines from Mati Karmin

furniture from sea mines from mati karmin

The furniture was designed by an Estonian sculptor. Mati Carmine. It is created from sea mines and proves once again that even in deadly objects, designers and sculptors can find inspiration. From mines designed beds, bathrooms and even prams (which would seem to be incompatible with military subject). Mines went as a legacy of the First and Second World War wars that Mati Carmine found on the island of Naissaar, in Finnish Gulf (former military facility). Of course, the mines did not represent no risk, since they were already neutralized by the military.
